Special thanks to all the competitors and schools that came out to help us make our first event into a great success. Overall we got a lot of positive feedback. We appreciate all the comments and are happy to report that we made some new friends. We had some great matches that made the event a lot of fun. Competitors came from places like New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland to compete. I personally would like to thank the Garden State Grappling staff for coming out and working so hard to provide a well run event. Considering that this was our first show we feel that it ran very smoothly. As expected many of the competitors enjoyed the large, clean facility that offered amenities such as locker rooms and individual showers I would also like to thank the schools that came out to represent. There are too many to list here but check out the results page for specific names. The Garden State Grappling Crew has been working hard to correct some of our shortcoming to ensure the next show will be bigger and better. We have already singed 5 new sponsors and are prepared to do another show some time in 2008.
