Mission:
It is the mission of this organization to provide a clean, safe, well organized, and fun competitive experience to all competitors.  In addition, Garden State Grappling looks to bring awareness to the sport and educate the public to the benefits of this type of activity. Garden State Grappling also pledges a social responsibility to the community at large. It is our belief that opportunities offered in this country are due to the connection we all share.

In light of this belief Garden State Grappling is honored to pledge a minimum of 10 % of all net proceeds to charitable institutions. Some of our favorite charities include the MS foundation andMADD, as well as Children’s Hospitals within the area of our competitions. Moreover, we extend an open invitation for all socially responsible groups free advertising space with our promotion as well as space to recruit volunteers or educate the General Public at our events. At the upcoming October 27-28 event we will be promoting Smoking Awareness and donating to the Police Unity Tour. The Police Unity Tour was organized by Officer Patrick P. Montuore, of the Florham Park Police Department, with the hope of bringing public awareness of Police Officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices.

Vision:
With the assistance of the community we can create a competitive event that will continue to grow in popularity. It is our vision to develop a program with such validity that it becomes the premiere event in the state. In the future we will continue to partner with socially responsible organizations to use the draw power of our events to further assist the stakeholders within the community and develop the sport of Jujitsu in our geographic area. Our vision is to display the skill and art in movement that our competitor poses and reflect the sportsmanship and mutual respect that only modern warriors can.
